I. Objectives

1. Knowledge, skill, attitude:

a. Knowledge: Students talk about frequency, ask and answer about frequency.

- Vocabulary: Words related to the topic: “Sports and pastimes”.

- Grammar:         How often do Ba and Lan go to the zoo?

                           They sometimes go to the zoo.

b. Skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing

c. Attitude: Ss will be educated about sports and pastimes.

2. Capacity is formed and developed for students

- Self- learning

- Cooperation capacity  

II. Preparation

Activity1: Warm up:	
Aim: help ss to make the acquaintance of adverbs frequency.

Activity 2: Presentation:
Aim: help ss know how to use adverbs frequency 
- T introduces the lesson.
- T introduces adverbs of frequency.
- Ss listen and repeat.
- T has Ss read again.
- Ss read again.
- T corrects Ss’ pronunciation if necessary.

* Pre-reading
- T has Ss look at the pictures and recognize the activity in each picture.
- Ss do as suggested, then tell before the class.
- T checks and introduces new words.
- Ss listen and repeat. Then guess the meanings of new words.

III. Procedures:	
1. Class order: Greeting, checking attendance, asking for date (1’)	
2. Checking up: Answer:
- How often do Ba and Lan go to the zoo?
- How often do they go camping?
- How often do they do their homework?

Aim: help ss to remind adverbs frequency	
- T asks.	
- Ss answer.
Activity 2: Presentation:
Aim: help ss know how to write with adverbs frequency	
- T introduces the lesson.
- T explains the requirement and reads the questions.
- Ss pay attention to teacher.
Activity 3: Practice:
Aim: practice for ss to write the sentences.
- T has Ss write the answers.
- Ss write the answers individually. Then compare the answers in pairs.
- T calls some Ss to write the answers on the board.
- T checks and corrects Ss’ answers if necessary.
- Ss take notes.	
Activity 4: Consolidation:
Ss write five sentences about their activities using: always, usually, often, sometimes, never.
How often do you go to the zoo?
How often do you play sports?
How often do you go camping?
4. Write sentences about you in your exercise book:
Use: always, usually, often, sometimes, never.
Suggested answer:
a) I go to the zoo.
b) I  go to the park.
c) I . .. play sports.
d) I . go camping.
e) I . go fishing.	
f) I ..help my mom.
g) I am late for school.
4. Homework: 
Learn the words, structures by heart, practice reading the lesson
