Activity 2: Presentation:
Aim: introduce the new words.
- Elicit some new words in the text and explain them by translation, explanation, picture 
- Read model, chorus, individual
- Check pronunciation
- Show Ss a picture of badminton.
- Ask Ss look at the pictures and observe.
- Give Ss listen to the tape.
- Ask them whether they know and play this sport and what to play badminton.
Activity 3: Practice:	
Aim: help ss to read the passage and answer the question.
- Let students read the text carefully
- Call Ss work in pairs. Then practice in front of class.
- Give feedback
Activity 4: Consolidation:
- T asks ss some questions.
- Answer the question

Adverbs of manner
A4: Read. Then answer the questions
* Students learn how to give advice about sporting activities for owner.
* New words.
- competition (n): cuộc thi
- organize (v): tổ chức
- participant (n): người tham gia
- increase (v): gia tăng
- volunteer (v): tình nguyện
- inst... Nam doing, then introduce the situation.
- Ask Students observe the pictures and answer the question and listen to the introduction.
- Let them listen to the cassette twice, and then have them repeat.
- Call some pairs play the role before class about Nam and Ba.
Activity 3: Practice:	
Aim: guide ss to answer the questions.
- Give Pairs work: practice with partner.
- Ask them to pick out the modal verbs and give the information of three forms as quickly as possible.
- Have Students ask – answer the questions (using the idea given in the dialogue)
- Give Students take notes.
Activity 4: Consolidation:
- T asks ss some questions.
- Ss answer the question
1: Listen. Then practice with a partner.
a. Nam should finish his homework before he plays table tennis.
b. Nam will be ready in a few minutes.
c. Ba will finish a question for Math.
d. Ba has 2 paddles.

3. Homework: 
- Read the dialogue again.
- Prepare new lesson unit 14 B1.

- Reading a dialogue to know what kinds of programs Ba and Nga like to watch.
- Vocabulary: cartoon, weather forecast, fistful, children’s program, to prefer
- Grammar:	- Like/ prefer + to infinitive
	- Like/ prefer + gerund
b. Skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing
c. Attitude: Ss will be educated how and when to use about TV and TV programs.
2. Capacity is formed and developed for students
- Self-learning capability. 
- Communicative competence 
- Cooperation capacity 
II. Preparation

à Nga is going to listen to the radio and may be read a book.
3. Homework: 
- Learn by heart the new words.
- Read the passage again.
- Review to test 45 minutes.
