E.g. :	A: When is Valentine’s Day? 
	B: It’s on the 14 th of February 
* Activities of the celebration 
A: What do people often/ usually do at/ on + name of the celebration? 
B: People often/ usually + V(present simple) 
E.g. :	A: What do people usually do on Valentine’s Day? 
	B: They usually give chocolates, flowers or gifts to the people 	 they love. 
Practice: Work in pairs, ask your partner about celebrations/ holidays to get information to complete the table

	+ If the number is not “Lucky celebration”, the representative has to guess what celebration it is, based on the group’s suggestions. (The time of the celebration mustn’t be mentioned) 
	+ If the answer is correct, he/ she gets 10 points for his/ her group. If he/ she can give the time of the celebration, 3 more points will be given to his/ her group. 
	+ If the answer is wrong, the chance belongs to the other group.

Students often visit their old teachers with flowers, cards or small 
gifts and wishes to express their gratitude. 
3. Christmas 
25 th of December 
People commemorate the birth of Jesus. 
People decorate Christmas trees, give presents to each other or send cards wishing each other a merry Christmas.
