(Các con thấy gì trong tranh?) - What fruits do you see? - Look at the picture in textbook. - Lots of fruits! - Watermelon, grapes, apples, kiwi. - Ask the Ss to guess the country which has a lot of this kind of fruit. - Guess the country - Elicit Ss’ answers(in L1) -Welcome to Brazil, (Bài học thứ 6 này chúng ta sẽ cùng nhau khám phá về nước Brazil) - Listen - Stick the word Brazil to the board and teach students to pronounce. 10 minutes TV, CD, chalkboard, textbook, pictures, ball Activity 1: Listen and point. Then say. +Teaching vocabulary - T gives some real fruits and asks the Ss to give names of these fruits.(pineapple, banana, watermelon, orange, apple, pear) - Quả dứa, quả chuối, quả dưa hấu, quả cam, quả táo, quả lê. - Elicit Ss’ answer - T sticks pictures of these fruits and their word cards to the board. - Listen and repeat - T points to the pictures and asks the Ss to read loudl...ents’ Production 7 minutes Pictures, a ball - Help the Ss review vocabularies of fruits - T gives Ss some pictures about fruits - Ask the Ss to read again. - Repeat the words of fruits - Read again Game: Fruits Kicking -Divide the class into 3 groups. -Call one student in each group to play the game. -T sticks the fruit pictures on the board -Ss have to kick/ throw the ball to the pictures -If the ball reaches any pictures, they have to read loudly the fruit and they will have a star -Group work -Play the game -Kick the ball to the pictures Closing 5 minutes - Repeat the vocabulary: pineapple, banana, watermelon, orange, apple, pear. - Repeat the question: “ How many?” and the answer: “ there are”.. - Listen to the teacher and repeat. Materials required for the lesson: Textbook, ball, CD, flashcards, chalk board Procedure: Time, materials and steps What teacher will do What students will do Warm up 5 minutes Ball, CD music Game: -Ask the SS to move the ball around the class. -Play a song and suddenly pause. Each time the music stops, the student holding the ball has to stand up and say one fruit(banana, pear, watermelon, pineapple, orange, apple) -Move the ball -Listen to music -If any student can’t say any fruit he/she has to sing a song. -T gives feedback. -If music pauses Ss will have to stand up and say a fruit. Teacher’s Presentation 12 minutes chalkboard, flash cards -Review the fruits of the previous lesson - T holds fruit cards and asks: “what is it?” - Elicit Ss’s anwers - Answer the questions - Talk about fruits Activity 1: Listen and read then say - Ask the children to look at the pictures at ...y attention to each picture and say: There is one/ -Game: flash card chain -T gives a picture of three bananas and asks the Ss to count and say there are three bananas. -Look at the picture and count banana. -These Ss will move the picture and say this sentence to next student. -Cards will be moved around the class -Move the picture and say: there are three bananas -T gives other fruit pictures and says the same -T goes around the class, observes and corrects mistakes if necessary. -T gives feedback -Do the same Students’ Practice 13 minutes TV, CD, chalkboard, textbook. Activity 2: Write there’s or there are - Ask the Ss to look at the picture in activity 1 and complete the sentences - Look at the picture and complete the sentence - Ask the Ss to count and write in their books - Count and write - Call some Ss to read their answers - Some Ss read answer - Check with the whole class - Check - Ask the Ss to make more sentences based on the picture on the board. - Make the sentences Students’ Practice 8 minutes 7 minutes ( T prepares a small board) *Do the exercise 1 and 2 in workbook, page 69. - Ex1: Look, read, and circle. - Ex2: Look at Activity 1 and write. * Order the words: 1. one / There’s / watermelon. 2. are / three pears. / There 3. four pencils. / are / There 4. pineapple. / one / There’s 5. There / five oranges. / are - Call some Ss to check orally firstly. - Ask Ss to go to board and write down their answers. - Show the answer keys and correct Ss’ mistakes. *Answer keys: 1. There’s one watermelon. 2. There are three pears. 3. There are four pencils. 4. There’s one pineapple. 5. There are five oranges. - Listen to the teachers’ instruction and do Ex1, 2 in workbook, page. 69. -Listen to teacher’s instruction. - Do the exercise “ Order the words”. - Give the answers. - Write the answers on the board. - Check the mistakes again.
