s. - The Ss without a place calls out the name of a fruits and tries to take a place as others change place - T will try to 6 fruits (banana, apple, pineapple, watermelon, pear, orange) Teacher’s Presentation 10 minutes Chalkboard, pictures, textbook Activity 1: Listen and read. 1- Show the picture of the story on TV and ask the Ss: + How many characters are there in each picture? ( có bao nhiêu nhân vật trong bức tranh) - Two: a girl and a monkey + What can you see in the picture? (ask them to describe the picture in L1) - A girl, a monkey, peaches, watermelon, cherries. – Show four pictures in the story one by one and ask the students to describe what they see in the picture in L1. (point to each picture and ask) - Look at the picture and describe. - Suggest with some questions: - Point to picture 1: + What is the girl doing? (Cô gái đang làmgì?) - She is sleeping - Point to picture 2: + What is the monkey doing? (chú khỉ đang làm gì?) - It’s standing behin...TV, CD, chalkboard, textbook. Activity 2: Read the story again. Then ask and answer with a friend - Ask the whole class to read the story again. - Read the story again - Play the CD and ask the Ss to read along. - T reads the questions and Ss answer the questions. - Call some Ss to stand up and anwer the questions - Answer the question - T gives the value of the story: Honesty: don’t take others’ things! + Ask the Ss how they feel if someone takes something in school (in L1) + Allow the Ss to answer in L1 to help them understand the importance of the value better. + T gives some opinions about how important it is honest Students’ Production 8 minutes required: pictures Role play: - T calls some Ss to go to the board and role play. - Group work - One student is a girl, one student is a monkey (hold a picture of a monkey), one student is a peach (hold a picture of a peach), one student is a piece of watermelon (hold a picture of a piece of watermelon) and one student is a cherry (hold a picture of a cherry). - Perform the story in front of the class. - Ask them to preform and read these characters. - Divide the class into groups of 5. - Call 5 students in each group to go to the board and perform the story. - The group preforming well will be the winner. Perform on the board. Closing 2 minutes Say again the value of honesty- Don’t take others’ things. - Say again the content of lesson. - Listen and then clap the hands. Ask Ss to identify the characters in the picture on page 30 and what they are saying. Set the scene “you are going to listen to Mai and Linda identifying toys. Play the recording and asks Ss to listen to the tape. T asks Ss to listen and repeat in chorus two times. Call on one pair. One repeats Mai’s part, the other repeats Linda’s part. Have whole class repeat all the phrases a few times to reinforce their pronunciation. 2. Point and say - Have pupils look at pictures on Page 30.
