- Greetings.

- Checking the attendances.

2.Review of the previous lesson:

- Ask students some questions about Tim and his family .

+ How many people are there in Tim’s family ?

+ What does his mother / father do ?

- Ask Ss to look at the pictures in the book carefully 
- Have Ss call the names of the pictures .
- Call some Ss to give the answer in front of the class.
- Correct and give the correct answer :
- Ask Ss to look at the book and answer the questions :
 Who are they ?
Where are they ?
What does the tourist want ?
- Introduce the situation : A tourist is asking the way. ( Using picture) 
- Present some new words and structures :
-Ask Ss to make sentences with the structures .
- Ask Ss to look at the book and listen to the tape then answer the question : (Using cassette)
 Where does the tourist want to go ?
- Ask Ss to listen to the tape and read after the tape . 
- Have Ss read the dialogue in pairs .
- Call on some pairs to read in front of the class .
- Correct the pronunciation. 
- Give some places and ask Ss to practice in pairs .

Practice:

S2: The shoe store is between the restaurant and the hotel . It’s opposite the supermarket. 
Ex :Go straight ahead to the third street , tunr right , what is between the movie theatre and the bakery ?

4.Consolidation:
 Give some places for Ss to practice :
 Restaurant / museum / book store 
 - Ask Ss to give the directions to these places .

 - Write the answers in the notebooks.
 - Prepare Unit 8 (A4-5) for the next period. ( Review structure: How far is it from.to? )
